What Is The Income tax Customer Care Number?

As we have stated earlier that Income Tax Customer Care is divided into several departments.

For general queries related to Income Tax you have to call on this number 1800-180-1961 or 1961. This helpline number Aayakar Sampark Kendra (ASK) is available from 08:00 to 22:00 (Monday to Saturday) 

Queries related to rectification, refund, intimation and other

Income Tax Centralized Processing Center helpdesk support is working from 08:00 – 20:00 (Monday to Friday)

Third one is e-Filing, in this department, services are e-Filing of Income Tax Return or Forms and other value added services provided through e-Filing Portal. 

Numbers are 1800-103-0025+91-80-4612-2000 & +91-80-2650-0026. Working time is 09:00 to 18:00 from Monday to Saturday.

The fourth department of Income Tax Customer Care is TDS Reconciliation Analysis and Correction Enabling System (TRACES)

The purpose of this department is to resolve query related to Form 16, Tax Credit (Form 26AS) and other queries related to TDS statement, Form 15CA processing.

Its known as TDS Reconciliation Analysis and Correction Enabling System (TRACES) and support numbers are 1800 103 0344 (or) +91-120-4814600. (10:00 – 18:00, Monday to Saturday)

Last one is Tax Information Network – NSDL. If the query is related to PAN & TAN application for Issuance/Update through NSDL then you have to call on this number +91-20-2721-8080 (07:00 – 23:00, All Days).
